New Fruit Trees Arrive at Nursery

Winter is the time for fruit trees.

We use the term fruit trees to describe the common deciduous fruits such as apple, cherry, apricot, peach, plum and nectarine. All of these fruits are most easily grown from winter dormant trees grown in the soil in field nurseries. The trees are dug en masse by machine, transferred to our place and planted in our carefully prepared organic bed. When all our trees are in place it is forest of beautiful trees for you to chose from. Between us we can select the style of tree that suits your plan, whether it be to create a bush tree or espalier. When we pull the trees up you can examine the root systems to make sure they are good enough. We expertly prune and wrap the trees so that you can take them home and plant them. We will advise you on the best way to do this and supply detailed planting notes.

We are ready for you now with dormant bare rooted Apricots, Cherries and Nectarines. More trees of more varieties will arrive over the next two weeks.

Diana, Chris and Joanne look forward to your next visit.
