There is Still Time to Plant Citrus

We are into early May yet warm temperatures and dry weather has meant that the soil remains warm enough to encourage citrus roots. Our trees are at their best at this moment. They are young, vigorous and well covered in quality green leaves and buds. There is a wide range of interesting varieties including:

  • Blood Orange

  • Buddhas Hand

  • Chinotto

  • Meiwa cumquat

  • Kaffie Lime

  • Lemon

  • lemonade tree

  • Tahitian and West Indian Lime

  • Clementine mandarin

  • Orange

  • Red Navel

  • Pummelo

  • Tangelo

  • Red Grapefruit

  • Yuzu

Most of these are $65 trees with some more advanced at $89. If you follow Perrys planting directions closely many of them might be expected to show fruit either next year or the one after.

Visiy our nursery this week and get on with growing you own citrus grove. We open 7 days, 10-4 each day.
